Misconceptions about women, weightlifting, and strength training, and why we should

Its actually about our need to Preserve our muscle mass and our bone density.

As naturally as women that declines rapidly as we age, which leaves us susceptible to injury, and things like osteoporosis.

Strength training is super important for women because that resistance, and that gentle tearing of the muscle fibres as you lift weights in a safe and healthy manner, allows your muscles to repair, hopefully burn as fuel, ideally and repair and grow larger and stronger

Working on stabilizing our pelvis and hips as we are childbearing can support our spine and strengthening our core and pelvic floor

In regards to weightlifting women lack the testosterone that men are so lucky to have but along with that they have all that hair and deep voice, and masculinity

We are feminine and childbearing

When weightlifting, the old-fashioned thought for women would be that we will turn into bodybuilders if we lift weights

Become bulky and cumbersome

That is simply not true

However, women can build, lean muscle and participate in body, sculpting and bodybuilding competitions

If their nutrition is correct and they over, eat a surplus of calories in the right macro nutrients to help build lean muscle and they train hours and hours per day to make that happen it’s relentless it’s ruthless is enormously, time-consuming, and it’s very stressful on the body and you have to dedicate your life to it

However, men can look at weights in the gym and grow muscle and burn body fat at the drop of a hat for the most part

For women  lifting weights to maintain or slightly grow a little bit of lean muscle. Is super important for all areas of her life

Muscle is also hungry. It likes a lot of fuel so providing you’re not over eating your daily intake of food and your fueling your body correctly you can grow lean muscle just small amounts that’s enough to scaffold the bones

and that resistance training and a little bit of gentle bounding and things can help strengthen your bones also strip unwanted body fat
